Gabriel Lopez is a Los Angeles-based screenwriter and director originally from Miami, Florida. Growing up Puerto Rican in a multicultural hub, Gabriel wrote stories from a young age to understand and explore the world around him, using multiple genres and championing unique, human perspectives. His work has been screened at over 20 international film festivals, receiving accolades from organizations such as the Director’s Guild of America and the Sarasota Film Society.

His first feature film, the horror-thriller “Best Kept Shut”, wrapped production in January 2026 and is currently in post-production.
